How Orthotics and Bracing Help
A custom orthotic is a medical device made to the shape of your foot, prescribed after a biomechanical assessment to change how load passes through your foot and lower limb. It is not the same as an off-the-shelf arch support, which is made to an average foot rather than yours.

We use our Zebris pressure-sensing treadmill, the only one in New Zealand, to measure exactly how your foot loads through each phase of your stride. Your orthotic is then prescribed from that data rather than from a visual estimate.
